News about a David E. Kelley-produced Wonder Woman treatment has been pretty much dead lately, which makes it a perfect time to announce the results of our recent “Who Should Play Wonder Woman” poll.
Editorializing for a moment, I am happy to say that my own personal choice, Bridget Regan of Legend of the Seeker fame, won the poll with 736 votes – over 20% of the total vote.
Coming in a strong second was a woman who has shown before that she could wear a Wonder Woman-like getup, Erica Durance. Lois Lane to Diana Prince? If Chris Evans can be both the Human Torch and Captain America, why not? 652 people voted for Erica, putting her in second place.
Third place went to someone who has said negative things about Wonder Woman in the past, so who knows if she’d even go near it. That person is Megan Fox, with 323 votes.
Rounding out the Top Five were Eliza Dushku and Lucy Lawless, who both came near 275 votes each, give or take a few.
Several people also wrote in their favorites using the write-in feature. Getting the most write-ins, more than anyone else, was Days of our Lives’ Nadia Bjorlin.

I like the idea of Bridget Regan, Eliza Dushku, or Lucy Lawless, in that order. Erica Durance? No, no, no. Please no. I couldn’t watch the show in that case, because of the horrible associations with Smallville.

Some new commers disirve a chance Eliza Dushku as wonder woman would not be it Eliza Dushku but i do not say Eliza Dushku is a bad actres no she is a good actres….Maybe the best!Lawless to old no way Megan Fox to mutch in the movies she is not it Erica Durance is also not it and she also is one of my favrot actres but Bridget Regan she can and will be wonder woman in my eys she is good and even she have the looks for it.
Wow!! Its about time!! Actualy I thought for sure it would be a movie before they bring it back on TV. I just hope they can find a Woman as gorguos as Lynda carter still is.
I also hope NBC does not screw this up like they did the Bionic woman and Night Rider!!
Erica Durance the best choice because she can bring depth to the character as well as beauty! She’s definitely capable of bringing intelligence to the part and is capable of handling the physical demands of the role as seen on Smallville.
